The flow-tron works great for the shredding of leaves and needles. Not many can operate grinders pine needles. The Honda engine purhcased a large leaf shredders cost more than $ 400 and does not work, as well as the FlowTron. The only problem is that the engine is not very long on flowtron. This is my third time to buy this car, in the last 8 years. Flowtron vs. Worx - John Barber - Baltimore, MD
I have 5 large oak trees on my property, and produce mountains of leaves in autumn. It will take years before they decompose into mulch, if you simply left in a heap. So after reading on leaf shredders have a 8 a shredder Flowtron and use by 2008 and for part of the fall of 2009, when the motor finally burned out. Then I bought a 13 amp Worx crushing and have been associated with that. Here are my observations on two models that are able to help you decide onpurchase.
Both are basically destroy the lawn with an inverted funnel, leaving the direct line of spinning. With both models, you get crushed leaves of Nice which connects well with the dark mulch, if in a pile for about 6 months. And 'a pleasure to be able to reduce a pile of leaves into a pile of mulch manageable and effort to fill the autumn leaves gather for the collection and then buy mulch in spring. Dry leaves shred faster, but produce a lot ofPowder. Wet leaves to produce little dust and go into the mulch pile with a little 'of moisture, which helps with composting. I prefer the grinder, after a light rain. The Flowtron fits well with a plastic trash can, which is slightly better for the management of crushed leaves. I use a towel under the Worx is good, but I liked the method a little trash 'better. The Flowtron has some features that do not have the Worx, such as natural selection and adjustment of the grindingAngle of the bucket. I do not really take advantage of these features and not lose the Worx.
The disadvantage is that often require modifications in line chopper. The lines of shooting, if they lead to the contact a little 'thicker than a pencil, and the production until I replaced the last one for about every 5 or 10 minutes. I try to choose clubs, but of course, glide through a series and snap the lines. My experience with my burnt Flowtron, I wonder if it is 8 amp motor is too small. I'm still working my way through the stack 2009 sheets, but I am confident that the Worx get me through this season, and much more.

This is the second I heard the first lasted many years and was a joy to use.
