All in all, this machine seems to work well. I have a small garden in a suburban environment, with two large trees, a honey locust, with small twigs and leaves of sugar maple leaves large. There are also some leaves from our neighbors and lilacs. The reason why I bought the Leaf-Eater was to reduce these leaves for composting. Before this card stack overwhelmed our compost pile, and I had used in other areas. With the reduced leaf-eater, the volume of leaves wassignificantly from the first, that (the definition coarse and then fine-tuning than others, though perhaps not as strong as previously announced) - a rough estimate of about 80% said the oak leaves and other larger leaves and 60% for the honey locust tree. As people have seen is very strong and there's a lot of dust, so listen, eye protection and respiratory tract are a must - I had all my clothes washed after application. I have 5 large oak trees on my property, and produce mountains of leaves in autumn. It will take years before they decompose into mulch, if you simply left in a heap. So after reading on leaf shredders I have an 8 and a shredder Flowtron use by 2008 and for part of the fall of 2009, when the motor finally burned out. Then I bought a 13 amp Worx crushing and have been associated with that. Here are my observations on two models that are able to help you decide onpurchase.

Both are basically destroy the lawn with an inverted funnel, leaving the direct line of spinning. With both models, you get crushed leaves of Nice which connects well with the dark mulch, if in a pile for about 6 months. And 'a pleasure to be able to reduce a pile of leaves into a pile of mulch manageable and effort to fill the autumn leaves gather for the collection and then buy mulch in spring. Dry leaves shred faster, but produce a lot ofPowder. Wet leaves to produce little dust and go into the mulch pile with a little 'of moisture, which helps with composting. I prefer the grinder, after a light rain. The Flowtron fits well with a plastic trash can, which is slightly better for the management of crushed leaves. I use a towel under the Worx is good, but I liked the method a little trash 'better. The Flowtron has some features that do not have the Worx, such as natural selection and adjustment of the grindingAngle of the bucket. I do not really take advantage of these features and not lose the Worx.

The disadvantage is that often require modifications in line chopper. The lines of shooting, if they lead to the contact a little 'thicker than a pencil, and the production until I replaced the last one for about every 5 or 10 minutes. I try to choose clubs, but, of course, glide through a series and snap the lines. My experience with my burnt Flowtron, I wonder if it is 8 amp motor is too small. I'm still working my way through the stack 2009 sheets, but I am confident that the Worx get me through this season, and much more.

This car is a total waste of money if you only want to shreds leaves. There is not much bigger. I had many problems and that carburetors are working very hard to find. I recommend that you found elsewhere

I have a 1998 version, in possession of this shredder for 8 years, and finally given away. I am planning a Bearcat 8HP or similar (more robust) to upgrade the shredding.

I 1 / 2 acres of Douglas fir, the branches in a storm drops, for example, 14 tend to take in the month of December. I also removed the ivy and blackberries, so I knew that I would be a waste yard blue 2x a month earlier. I bought my shredder local Home Depot, especially since I do not know what else is outthere, and it seemed a good product () at the moment.

I have found over the years that there is really only a very light car, and that in reality the profile that you wear pretty fast. I only have my 2-4 times a year, if I built a lot, but everything that could not wear.

The Echo ES1600 chipper / shredder has really contributed to the maintenance of my garden. At first I was that this e-Shredder give me the strength I needed, as I have gas-powered models in the past have been skeptical. But it has a 14 amp motor, which really seems to put all the strength I need for my yard reduces waste quickly and easily. E 'shreds brush and leaves very easily and is much quieter and cleaner than gas-powered devices I had in the past. At first I stalled the engine a lot. Avoid wet material - makes lumps in the conduct of exit. Familiar with the Allen key manually tree. I opened the device actually present on the head so that it soon became apparent. Make sure you know the switch to reset after a decade. After a little ', nutrition correct rate is evident and is even more consistent. Much less effort than petrol engines of small size.

I am very pleased with the satisfaction of the product. E 'ideal for small shredding jobs around my house. E 'was also very good that they sent a sheet with the shredder. The only complaint I have is that I am not a lame way to get more purchase. The e-mail with the product does not work and I can not find a website on the Internet, where the spare blades can be purchased include the address.

Eco-ES1600 Shredder 14-amp Electric Chipper / Shredder MulcherThe come, without any intervention by the auction. Opening hopper, 25% smaller than claimed. The size of the crater has been argued, 15.3 inches by 10.4 inches. This is the external dimensions, not much help. Real profits are the dimensions 13.25 inches x 9 inches. The helicopter part was beautiful, with the exception of members are not fully involved in closed blade. Another stick used to push the cutting of the legs --fully in the chamber edge. The outlet slot is very narrow and clogs. The border around the outlet slot must be removed to help jump, especially when the leaves are a little 'wet. It takes a lot of extra work, but I think I like the challenge.

My husband and I have a lot of yard work, and we have Electric Chipper / Shredder, before and even bought a model of competitiveness that use 15 A.. But just do not have the power to Echo ES-1600 Shredder is amazingly quiet and we have many hours without incident. We use it often leaves litter and safely remove small branches. We found a yard of good size and the product is well workload. My husband likes the fact of it with an additional volumeLame. We had a McCulloch and had a great effort to find spare blades and it was vibrating too much to use. I would recommend this unit each in search of a model electric.
