After reading the reviews, both pros and cons, I decided to give me, try the Eco-Shredder. I'm glad I did. We have this machine for several years. We knew it was easy when we bought is fine, because we keep the larger branches of power. We use only the size of debris that the device is to build for themselves, but it hangs very easily. Taking it apart to relieve congestion is a nuisance and time consuming. Next time I'll pay extra for a more difficult task Chipper.

The shredder I received was new. It was easy to assemble, although the manual in letters so small I needed a magnifying glass to read it.

It took about an hour. I was shredding pine twigs / needles less than inch in diameter, when the machine is being destroyed.

It is a body called the blade V, which appears to be forging iron or a bad quality. The grinding forces V blade material in contact with the blades smaller material. The blade in my VShredder broken / destroyed, destroyed both shredding blades. The motor does not stop! I had to stop manually.

The blades were cut and deformed by crushing this contact, loose screws and the machine is probably not repaired, because the threads on the adjustment screws to appear to be removed.

Now I discover, as I have my money back. This should be fun.

We had a couple of overgrown bushes that trimming / cutting required. Instead of useless waste sticker for $ 3 brown garden waste in bags plus the cost of the bag, we bought this unit to condense the brush and, perhaps, to begin a process of composting.

The drive up to our expectations. Assembly was a breeze. Everything had to do what we did was on the wheels, attach the handle and feed chute. It covers the leaves and small branches without problems. It 'can handle branches up to 1 inch to maybe 1 1 / 4 inchwithout problems. The machine must be fed slowly to avoid clogging. It's not like wet leaves or branches. garden waste wet blocked the exit and mulching blades.

We expect more than a year we had 50 yards of trash (probably generate more leaves). This chipper shredder and pays for itself in 1-2 seasons. Moreover, waste used for composting.
